About the Artist
Animals have always been one of many themes in my artwork. As a high school art student myself, I won a Scholastic Golden Key Award for my etching of a bird, created while a student in the Arts summer program at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. For 32 years I taught Art in the public school system for grades Kindergarten through grade 12 in Connecticut, first in Ridgefield, then in Falls Village, before teaching for 20 years in Woodbury and Bethlehem. Because I had to master so many mediums in order to teach them to my students, I work in a variety of mediums including Pen & Ink, Collage, Acrylic paint, Watercolors, Scratchboard, and Pastel.
Cost for a Bow Wow portrait ranges from $200 up, depending on size and medium. Satisfaction guaranteed. If you don’t like what I’ve created, you do not have to buy it! Nothing to lose! Simply e-mail me a few photos of your pet (dog, cat, bird, hamster, lizard, etc.,) and I will capture the personality of that beloved family member in paint or pastel. See examples on this website!
